I'll never forget Lloyd Carr's comment about Jackson -- how he had the "heart of a lion" -- after ND beat then defending NC UM in the 98 opener.
Fierece competitor with a great arm and a strong pair of legs. Loved to watch him play.

I'm also surprised it had received a down-vote before I up-voted. I actually don't think Jackson would be a bad fit for Kelly's offense at all. A guy who could run and throw, seems to be in line with what Kelly recruits for the position.

Too bad Davies didn't install Urban's spread option. Jackson would have been Tebow like.

I remember in Jacson's last season at Notre Dame,Bob Davie bypassed Urban Meyer for the OC job and brought in Kevin Rogers from Syracuse,Rogers never seem to work out at Notre Dame.
