• DL Jacob Matuska: Had two receptions for 35 yards, including a 25-yard touchdown catch, and six tackles after only playing one half in Bishop Hartley’s (3-0) 50-7 blowout win over East Knox. Next game – Archbishop Hoban (0-3)

• OL Mike McGlinchey: William Penn Charter School (1-0) shut out Samuel Fels, 30-0. Next game – McDonogh [Owings Mills, Md.] (2-2)

• OL Colin McGovern: Lincoln-Way West (2-1) finished with an easy 49-14 victory against Thornridge. Next game – Andrew (2-1)

• OL John Montelus: Everett (1-0) opened up its 2012 season with its 26th straight victory in a 29-17 result versus Leominster. Next game – Central (1-0)
