WR Justin Brent (2014): Reeled in four catches for 57 yards and a three-yard touchdown to help Speedway (3-2) to a 28-6 win against Monrovia. Next game – Cascade (2-3)

DB Devin Butler: Returned to action following a high-ankle sprain two weeks before and compiled five tackles, an interception and two pass breakups in Gonzaga’s (3-1) easy 44-14 victory against Georgetown Prep. Next game – Our Lady of Good Counsel [Olney, Md.] (3-1)

LB Michael Deeb: Recorded seven tackles for American Heritage (2-1) in its 48-10 drumming of Lake Highland Prep. Next game – Bye week

OL Steven Elmer Jr.: Midland (4-0) remained undefeated on the season following a 28-6 result versus Arthur Hill. Next game – Mount Pleasant (2-2)

ATH Will Fuller: Accumulated roughly 70 yards on five receptions to help Roman Catholic (2-1) to a 42-7 rout of Springside Chestnut Hill Academy. Next game – Archbishop Pendergast Catholic (1-2)

TE Mike Heuerman: Remained on the sideline following an emergency tonsillectomy earlier in the week during Barron Collier’s (2-1) loss to East Lee County, 19-13. Next game – Golden Gate (0-3)

RB Jamel James: Still recovering from a knee/hamstring injury suffered earlier in the season while Cinco Rancho (2-1) suffered its first loss of the season in a 62-21 finish against North Shore. Next game – Bye week

DB Rashad Kinlaw: Champing at the bit to get back into action following a leg injury suffered over the summer as Absegami (1-1) won its first game of the season after shutting out Middle Township, 32-0. Next game – Mainland Regional (1-2)

LB Greer Martini (2014): Shine offensively by lining up at receiver and reeling in touchdowns catches of 85- and 44-yards, adding a two-point conversion catch, in Woodberry Forest’s (1-1) 43-33 win against Blair Academy. Next game – Paul VI (3-0)

LB Danny Mattingl: Mead (3-0) remained undefeated after topping Gonzaga Prep, 41-7. Next game – Mount Spokane (1-2)

DL Jacob Matuska: Registered three tackles and a 23-yard reception in Bishop Hartley’s (4-0) 42-10 victory over Archbishop Hoban. Next game – Fairland (2-2)

OL Mike McGlinchey: Returned a fumble for a 15-yard touchdown playing as a nose guard as William Penn Charter (2-0) shut out McDonogh [Owings Mills, Md.], 13-0. Next game – Interboro (2-1)

OL Colin McGovern: Lincoln-Way West (2-2) suffered a loss against Andrew, 17-0. Next game – Lincoln-Way North (2-2)

OL John Montelus: Everett (2-0) defeated Central, 33-14. Next game – St. John’s Prep (2-0)

WR James Onwualu: Totaled 161 yards rushing on 13 carries and two touchdowns of 83- and 7-yard runs, and helped out defensively by notching six tackles and three pass deflections in Cretin-Derham Hall’s (2-1) 27-13 win over Stillwater. Next game – Hastings (1-2)

LB Doug Randolph: Remained on the sidelines as a result of a foot injury while Woodberry Forest (1-1) topped Blair Academy, 43-33. Next game – Paul VI (3-0)

DL Isaac Rochell: Still out due to a broken hand suffered earlier in the season, but Eagle’s Landing Christian Academy (3-1) had no trouble in a 56-14 blowout over Hapeville Charter. Next game – Bye week

LB Jaylon Smith: Caught a seven-yard touchdown in Bishop Luers (3-2) 27-7 win against Wayne. Next game – Concordia Lutheran (1-4)

QB Malik Zaire: Threw two touchdowns in one half of playing in Archbishop Alter’s (3-0) 44-6 victory against Roger Bacon. Next game – Purcell Marian (1-3)
