All the more unbelievable that someone in the past week suggested that Kiel will be battling Everett for the starting position next year.
Nope.
Talk about a firmed-up starter.
Only injury or lack of eligibility will dislodge Golson from the starting position.

As Brian Kelly might say, "enjoy the process." Don't count the days until a game arrives. Savor every new day the team is No. 1. When I was 11 and ND was making its first run during my fandom to No. 1, I always remember December of that year not only for the victory on New Year's Eve over Alabama, but the great anticipation of how each day was one day closer. (Plus, the basketball team was unbeaten too and won at Indiana, at Ohio State and at Kentucky that month.)

Don't "wish the days away." They don't come along long like this that often.
