The always amiable Louis Nix took time after Notre Dame's annual football awards show Friday to talk about the challenge of facing Alabama in next month's BCS National Championship in Miami, Fla.
The junior nose guard, along with sophomore defensive end Stephon Tuitt, won the Moose Krause Defensive Lineman of the Year award, after which he thanked his mother for having "a beautiful son, and he's here today."
