Led by a dominating defense that includes Louis Nix III and Stephon Tuitt (both shown above), Notre Dame has been building toward becoming a championship contender again.
Stanford winning 23 games in 2010-11 should be ample evidence to Notre Dame that academic/athletic success isn’t mutually exclusive.
