2013 Football Schedule Ready To Be Released

Any day now, Notre Dame will officially release its 2013 football schedule. The opponents are set, it was just a matter of finding the right dates. Here is how we tentatively have it:
Aug. 31 Temple
Sept. 7 at Michigan
Sept. 14 at Purdue
Sept. 21 Michigan State
Sept. 28 Oklahoma
Oct. 5 vs. Arizona State$
Oct. 19 USC
Nov. 2 Navy
Nov. 9 at Pittsburgh
Nov. 16 BYU
Nov. 23 at Stanford
TBD at Air Force
Ideally, the Air Force game will fall on Oct. 26 instead of Oct. 12. That way ND 1) has two weeks to prepare for USC on Oct. 19 and 2) will play triple option teams Navy and Air Force back-to-back, thereby keeping continuity in the defensive preparation two straight weeks.

Arlington should be fun but having Oklahoma in the stadium is a must see for me. I hope they don't buy out a ton of tickets like Nebraska did a while back...

Although this sounds ideal, I recall seeing a stat during last years USC debacle that ND is something like 1-8 all time playing them after a bye week. If that's the case, sign Air Force up for Oct. 12 in my book.
