It's still too early to tell, but he's definitely a kid I could see earning an offer. Something to monitor for sure.

I know Wharton family well and he loves ND. I actually called him "Rocket" while he was in Knoxville as he is legit sub 4.4. He can fly and is a great point guard as well. By the way, he was on phone with Urban Liar today. ND needs to move on this kid.

I wouldn't concern myself too much about his level of competition, if the coaches see him as a player they want that satisfies my concern much more than having a guy with a microphone and recorder telling me how talented a kid might be, After all Anzalone is only in a PA school that has a AA classification!

You've never seen a kid that young cut that fast? I'm guessing that you haven't seen a lot of highlight films. I'd start with Davonte Neal's. Watch that and then let us know if you feel the same way.

After watching the video I can see why some good defenses would want him at corner. His stop and restart quickness is quite impressive. He also looks to be fluid with his hips.
I wish there was some defensive footage, maybe there was I did not see the whole thing. At 6' I would be all for an offer into the secondary. ,

Even though this kid is not that big (5-11/6-0 - 170 but he is still young and will grow) or is a burner (He is listed at 4.38 - looks to be about 4.55 - which is plenty fast for a kid who was just a SOPH), this kid is a really good all around athlete, He has great feet, really good quickness, vision, hands and instincts. He is a really good all around football player and is a very versatile player (he can play slot WR, PR, CB). I love the way this kid plays (I would want him for the slot WR spot and as a PR).
