A - Golson will be the starter in Ireland. Rees will make the final decision tough for Coach Kelly. Rees will be a great backup and help when needed for the next 2 seasons.
Hendrix will transfer after Golson is named the starter
Once Malik Zaire arrives next summer he will seriously contend for the starting position, forcing Kiel to transfer to Indiana. Kiel will never see the field at ND.
Next year will be an amazing battle between Golson and Zaire....
ZAIRE IS THE REAL DEAL, A COMPETITOR WHO COMPETES AT ANOTHER LEVEL. WE ARE IN FOR A THRILL WITH HIM.
He or Golson will lead us to our next national title in 2013 or 2014 if we don't continue to lose key defensive transfers i.e. Lynch and Sheperd.
Just my two cents. :)

You do realize that if Golson starts this year and Zaire or Kiel next year, that will be 4 different starters in 4 years under Kelly? I find that trend very disturbing.
Personally, I hoping its Golson this year and for the next 3 years. This team seriously needs some stability at QB. It's the Irish's biggest issue. If this team doesn't get stability at QB starting this year, I think the Irish are headed for some real problems.

I agree we need stability and that's why Kiel should start
He is the future of this program and I personally think he is ready and I think Kelly is leaning more and more towards that as well
I know I am a minority in this but just putting my thought out here

Golson is the future of the program....and when he starts this year barring injury he will be the starter for the next 4 years

I want to see EG, dude is exciting! He can run, he can throw, and can combine the two. TR can't do any of the above individually. I say Hendrix is #2, Kiel #3, and any cheerleader, usher, or janitor in the stadium #4.

Golson hands-down should and better be the starter...the guy has big-time game and SWAGGER. He's one of those guys who might not be a great practice player, but when hes on the field anything is possible. For every poor play Golson might make, the opportunity of a game-changing play at anytime is always there. I really think he has all the abilities to be RG3 esque. #teamgolson!
