Even with a need for CBs, I think WR is his best position. Anything to get the ball in his hands.

It's not just ND's campus I am talking about.I love that campus as much as anybody I only live about 12 miles and have probably been there a thousand times but as we all know ND is not for everyone and I just have a feeling this was more a father's decision than Davonte's despite what he says.

It is sad. What will really be interesting is his attitude when he gets here. If he take the approach of I don't really want to be here, then it will be a problem. If he take the approach of I will be the best I can be, then hopefully it will work out in the end.
I have known people who wanted to go to ND their entire life who for some reason were miserable when they attended. I have known people who did want to come to ND but they couldn't get into their 1st choice (Yale, Harvard, insert school here), and it turned out to be the best thing to ever happen to them. Now it is up to Davonte.

Seriously, Davonte and GA3 back there returning kicks will be awesome.
It looks like Prosise and Davonte can both probably come in and compete at PR too. Just get some damn blocking down for those guys and it should take care of the miserable performance from last season.

Great pick up to land this kid....i really cant believe posters on here already talking about his transfering and worrying about nonsense like that...we just got one of the best athletes in the country, ENJOY IT!

I grew up in Alabama and "hated" ND ... till I visited the campus. My world changed but it was still hard back home to justify going to ND rather than blah, blah, blah. I had doubts as many friends questioned the decision.
Once I got back to campus ... no questions in my heart.
I hope this is the same for Neal.

At least we have something positive happen after the debacle on signing day. I sure hope Kelly and his coaches have a better 2013. I don't understand how OSU and Michigan can get so many kids to commit that early?
