I don't understand how most people here act as if us "pounding" U of M is a foregone conclusion. We have less stability than last year and they still have Denard. South Bend is not home field advantage either so I think people need to relax a bit on that talk -- lest September 22nd could be a devastating evening.

With that being said, we need Alabama to kill U of M -- they'll probably be playing in a BCS bowl again by default even if they lose to ND and Alabama in September. They don't play Wisconsin and OSU isn't eligible for a bowl so all they need to do is beat a rebuilding MSU squad and that's it! Ridiculous...

I think the real question for UM is how will they bounce back week two with Air Force as a trap game. They are not used to the academy teams so Air Force could pull a shocker in week 2. Win or lose this is a tough game for Michigan. Especially since they lose Mike Martin and Will Heniger up front. I think that they have a legit chance to be 1-2 when we play them. There luck can only take them so far.
