Yes, AD's have those lists and they never discuss them, not even in the athletic department, not even with their wives.

An AD must conduct himself in a way that gives his coach every possible opportunity to succeed. That includes not discussing options at HC before he makes the decision that he must make a change.

Seems to make some sense that we ND fans would want to conduct ourselves the same way: so that our coach has every opportunity to get it done.

Further, Kelly has not even coached his third year. His recruiting is impressive and there are many signs of improvement in the program. It is not just smart for fans to support him, it is irrational, in being so untimely, to begin these gratuitous conversations about his replacement.

I don't know if Kelly can get it done, I will grant that. But none of us knows that he cannot.
