Steve where do u think he is headed?

He states in the interview, "I wish I could be there with him." In reference to Elijah Shumate. Does this mean ND is not an option?

Was the question asked in the interview whether or not ND can accept a commitment from him?

I thought that at first, as well. However, I think in the context of that quote he means he wishes he could be there with him right now since he follows it up with "which I will have the chance to go to school with him and be comfortable"

Maybe that is just me looking at things through green-colored lenses, though. I have wanted him to be Irish, now even more after the very positive all star practice reviews. Guess we'll see.

This is rather bizarre. How does this work that one can be offered and a verbal commitment made, if the academic house is not in order? Is it so important that he announces on TV with the whole hat charade that he can't wait until all matters are cleared up, or are they cleared up, or does it even matter whether they're cleared up because he now wants to go to Miami, which is apparently the only school he's visited? Sherlock Holmes would not even try to solve this one.

Oh boy, major mea culpa here. I have always complimented the staff for the way they address sensitive issues, & there I was taking them to task for doing just that. Just goes to show you, don't make posts @ 2 am... On New Years morning. My bad. I'd have to guess that my 5 down votes are the most ever for me for a single post. Not a good way to start the new year, so consider this my long &winding apology. Hopefully it won't happen again. Jason & Steve, continue the GREAT work, & ignore idiots like me. Steve, I did read between the lines, & I guess I thought I was smarter than everybody else, feeling the need to actually spell it out. Again, no excuses, I have wanted AQM in this class for months, & I hope it works out.
