Standifer is a better cb prospect than Yuri. Too me Yuri is a safety and I don't think ND is still interested in him.
I hope we add this kid. We need another corner and it sounds like we have a great chance at him.

He actually turns and looks for the ball!! Not sure I can get used to watching multiple intereceptions game after game!
The kid can turn and find the ball when its in the air, could of used him in the UM game.
Standifer's 24/7 evaluation has him rated akin to John Turner, William Mahone, and Mark Harrell. If you like those prospects, wouldn't you like two of them? You could do worse than Standifer in this recruiting cycle. I've been a slave to the four-and-five-star-or-bust mantra (see: Cam McDaniel) in the past, but the defensive backfield is one area where athletes can succeed primarily on their athleticism which, quite frankly, all three stars and above have in spadesl. Besides, it seems DBs contribute an inordinate amount on special teams, as opposed to their other skill position counterparts.
