I was depressed after last week. Now I'm becoming indifferent (and that makes me sad).

I got angry when Denard picked up the fumble and took it in. I knew we had lost then. I don't think i batted an eyelash for the rest of the game, I knew it was over.

Well, I think I am depressed. I was thinking at halftime that things were going pretty good and I was gonna sex the missus up after the game. But as you can see I am still on the website. Notre Dame is ruining my sex life now...

Stunned and depressed. It's incomprehensible. So much looks good, yet so much goes wrong. It's mind numbing and mind boggling. As much as I'm getting conditioned to losing in unfathomable ways, this one was a spirit-breaker.

I'll fall in with the indifferent/numb/ambivalent crowd (which, I realize, wasn't one of the options). It gets to a point where you're angry in the heat of the moment, but after a minute it subsides and the emotion drifts off. Once you've poured your heart and soul into a team, and received nothing but the type of impossibly elaborate loss scenarios in which Notre Dame specializes in return, it's tough to keep mustering those serotonin-infused moments.

I don't know what to think anymore....We saw the same bizarre things happen under Weis.. at this point I think there must be a major curse ... these things just can't be made up. I too am expecting the worst to happen now and it always does. ...things that you won't see happen in a decade of football are happening every week to this team. At this point the ghost of Rockne could come back and coach and I don't think it would make any difference. I am just really depressed and sad.
My son who graduated in 08 had to watch his last game as a senior the loss to UConn and I was hoping for a good season for my son who is a senior this year...but it is not to be.

Indifferent currently. I watched the game with my son, and he was jumping all around and I just sat there, knowing the outcome would be bad. He is totally depressed. I can honestly say that I have finally reached the point where I am saying "does an ND win or loss really affect my life?" Maybe hope for the best and keep half an eye on how the team is doing going forward...probably not. I am a dumb shit.
My nephew is a big Purdue fan and he bet me straight up for $10. I thought that was easy money. Not so much now, even when Purdue has to come back against MTSU and gets beat by Rice (McDuffie with a TD reception BTW). I might pay him now...
