Per 247Sports national writer Justin Hopkins:
Pleasant Grove (Calif.) Lineman Arik Armstead will announce on Sunday at 3 pm PST.
Feels Oregon, Cal and Washington are three remaining finalists.
UPDATE:
Live updates via Duck Territory...
2:28 PM: Hats on the table are UCLA, Cal, Oregon, USC, Wash, ND and a sign with Auburn. Lots of people in attendance and highlights being shown on a screen behind the podium.
2:46 PM: Lots of Cal stuff around. People starting to find sits. 15 minutes away.
2:57 PM: Approx. 100 people on hand at ceremony
3:08 They are playing a quick video narrated by Pat Sumerall, things should be starting soon. Quick family prayer.
3:11 Armstead says his idol is George Pepper
3:13 He's at the podium now.
3:16 Will talk about each school, Auburn is first.

This guy is a prima donna, and his parents are over-involved in his decision. Who needs a coaching staff that has to deal with entitlement from the player PLUS the babying parents? I said it last week and say it again, we do not want this guy at ND.

According to Greg Biggins "Another interesting thing Gus said, if they could have gotten the waiver and paperwork filed on time, both boys would be at ND right now." J Sapp can i get a response to this. Cause if this was the case I woulda had that waiver ready and standing by so all they needed to do was sign. Like put a rush order on that.

Didn't say he would commit, but they became a player with Luopi going to Cal. I think Armstead and Thompson end up at Oregon, FWIW.
