Arnold's report on Hendrix & Rees - sounds very different

This report sounds like a dual qb approach to the game.

  • Eric Hansen had something on this yesterday. Either this is quite a bit of gamesmanship on the part of BK, or we will see a heavy dose of Hendrix. I'm suspecting it is the latter.

My luck with the Irish: 2-4, 3-time POTW

  • My guess is that, unless Rees comes out shooting like in the Miami game last year -- which means the line is handling the pass rush/blitz -- we will NEED a heavy dose of Hendrix.

What he makes of the opportunity will be telling, both as respects the game's outcome and what we might expect next season.

    This could be pretty exciting.

  • i hate to say it, but i hope Rees fails miserably and Hendrix just blows everyone away when he comes in. i would honestly like to see us down and have Hendrix bring us back into the game and win it for us.

Not me. I for one would not want anything but an Irish offensive juggernaut right out of the chute Thursday. If Rees leads that juggernaut, fine. Hopefully Spring pracice and two a days will settle the QB race

What difference does it make who fails and who succeeds? If you're worried that Rees would still be the #1 guy going into next season because of one game, you must think the coaches are morons. Rees had more success last year than Crist, but Crist was still the starter going into the first game. We just need to win the game, regardless of who succeeds, and then the battle for #1 starts all over again in the spring.
