Big East tying up loose ends

Less than a week after setting on a $7.5 million buyout with Syracuse, the Big East conference dropped its lawsuit against TCU in exchange for another $5 million.
TCU was orginially slated to join the Big East but jumped ship for the Big 12 before playing a single game in conference once the more geographically logical conference regained its footing last year.
