The over-under on his length of stay prior to taking a bigger job probably will be about two years.

It's no surprise that Bobby Petrino is returning to a college sideline less than a year after his scandalous ouster at Arkansas. Petrino may be a complete sleazeball, but he wins football games, which takes precedence over almost everything else on most campuses.

If Western gets BP to come back for a second season it will amaze me. But hey, they knew this coming in.

This is a great deal for Western Kentucky. They are essentially getting Petrino for free.
He signed a contract for $850,000 per year and if he leaves early his buyout or "payback" to Western Kentucky is $1,500,000.
If you are correctLou, and he leaves after 2 years, I call that pretty much free.
Great ROI.
