No lie. If the Hogs pulled it off, kudos. TCU isn't a garbage job now either though. Not good enough to Diaco (you hear that Bob? You are staying!), but still pretty good.

Would be a perfect fit for Diaco unfortunately- I think the perfect size job for his first- dont go to big as Muschamp will eventually find out in Gatorland is my bet...

I think kking's thought here is more likely. Arkansas is closer to a lateral coaching move for Patterson, with higher epxectations. That is a testament to the phenomenal job he's done at TCU.
He waits it out until Mack Brown is gone(this year or next). Texas is perfect for his system: already has established roots in Texas HS recruiting, is a defensive minded coach
