  • Really thought that the interest in Irish spring sports programs, especially men's hoops, would provide a real boost to interest in recruits. Apparently not so much. That is a shame, and Brey needs to pay attention to and start to recruit like Kelly and his staff. It can be done and I believe that good, if not great, basketball recruits will come to ND if we only go after them more than we have so far.

    I agree with you. I don't think they can get the one and two year guys but he can get first class players . If Brey can pull off another year like the one just passed , he can really get on the map . Lets hope so .

  • And others will pick up his scoring. Scott Martin, Carleton, and Adkins will all average 5 or more points per game. Probably a couple more for sharp shooting Abro too. This team is fine for next year. Its the year after that they need to get some help. They need bigs as Tom Knight and Broghammer are not going to be great. Good but not great.
