Its time for another BK to The Great Merlin sit down. You saw the game, you were there last year. Save your ND career bro...go with Golson. Don't screw up the greatest opportunity in your life coaching at ND over Tommy Rees. Pull him aside, tell Golson he's the man and do whatever you have to to get this talented kid ready to start in Ireland.

I'm just praying this isn't deja vu to the last time we had this situation in our backfield. The ultra talented dual threat gets the nod and the fanbase (D. Jones; Golson), over the steady game manager (Sharpley; Rees) and total package (Frazer; Hendrix). Only to struggle, get yanked and then all of a sudden the season is shot and the hot-shot FR is thrown into the fire (Kiel; Clausen). We've seen Kelly react to a bad first half before. All it would take would be a couple muffed snaps and a pick and Navy could have us down 21-7 with their ball control. If he can't get it down, I don't know if Kelly puts him out there for Navy even if he is the highest upside.

For the sake of my comparison and consensus opinion, Hendrix would be the total package to a scout. Bigger and taller with athleticism and an arm. The prototypical size like Frazer had, and he's similarly having problems putting it together. Golson is a total package in the sense he's a dual threat but he doesn't have the size to see over defenses so he has to scramble and roll more.
