Perhaps the team is not where Kelly wants it tob with respect to his scheme, but, to perform against USC (which is in a down year) the way ND did on Saturday is pathetic. There is too much talent at ND right now. I read everyone's emails leading up to the game about how our O-line manhandled their D-line last year, how ND's D-line is much improved, etc...; not many people on this board thought ND would lose to USC at home. USC cannot even play in the post season and that did not stop them from pounding ND on Saturday night. USC did not need to be motivate dby a post season BCS game. ND should have beat USC on Saturday -- no excuses! If you are looking to assign fault/blame, then it should go to the TEAM as many were involved in Saturday's loss.
