The "haters" are just pointing out that the reason why ND remains "relevant" is because of what Rockne built and was maintained until the last 20 or so years when incompetence and/or neglect took over. Things seem to be improving recently at least.

Always been a fan of Feldman. He is a top notch sports reporter and ESPN was fools to let him go over some garbage. He is truly unbias in all of his predictions.

"No question, the Irish have a huge fan base, coast to coast, but the Irish also draw an overwhelming number of people who hate ND. They'll tune in religiously hoping to see the Irish get beat. That factors into TV ratings too. " -- Feldman.
I didn't realize how the hatred of ND also seems to boost ratings. Kind of funny, in a way.
Haters -- just keep on watching. Makes ND "relevant".
