CB Devin Butler Commits To Notre Dame

Cornerback Devin Butler has announced his decision that he has given his pledge to Notre Dame. He's the tenth verbal commitment of the 2013 recruiting class.

I understand your point, but the same could be said about every recruit at every school. It is what it is. We just have to accept the process and understand verbal commitments change from time to time.
I am thrilled to have Mr. Butler commit to the Irish. A great talent addresses a certain need at CB.
I am also pleased to see 10 commits in early April. How many commits did the IRISH have last year at this time?
I also enjoy reading how the current commits are reaching out and talking up the IRISH to other targets.

Not negative at all. It is great news that we signed him. I am merely pointing out that other schools will not give up on him. I know ND is not giving up on recruits we want that have committed to other schools.

Anyone else feel that since the coaches are saying how many spots are available for each position, these kids want to jump on early so they don't lose a spot? Staff is doing a great job actually being honest with players instead of feeding them lies much like other schools.
