My faith in the coaching staff and their ability to develop players remains strong. These are all highly touted and skills\ed athletes and inexperience isn't a valid excuse. i remember when ND started 3 sophs on the defensive line of a NC season. None of them had any real experience. I remember token scholarship players who rose to the occasion not only to start but have productive NFL careers (Can anyone say Dan McCarthy?). At some point. ND just has to become ND again and take it to the competition. Solid coaching and development, dedication and devotion to our lady and ND nation, and just playing our game will go a long way to a successful season.

I'm not filled with doom and gloom for this season and believe that ND is BCS team waiting to break out. NC maybe not this year but then again why not. Just be ND and go out and play. We'll see where we stand when the dust settles in December.
