The business of college football is becoming more and more disappointing.
3 time POTW;
Tuberville's absolutely embarrassing excuse after ripping off his ST coach's headset was all I needed to see. What a coward.
Wow! What a D-Bag!
He probably just went out for ice cream, he'll be back
He probably just wanted to observe the kids in their natural comfort zone! Robin Williams used to do it, did the players mention an old house nanny hanging around the table by chance?
That's funny how Cincinnati fans had all this anger and rage about how Brian Kelly was unprofessional in the way he left them...but this is OK for Bearcat Fan?
I'm a current Red Raider senior student and the vibe around here is, "Good riddance." I've never seen a team that looks so poorly conditioned to win a game in November. This makes the work Paul Longo does even that much more important.
Any way, bring on Kingsberry and a strength coach.
I will say this... from a "football only" standpoint I think the Bearcats seriously downgraded after losing Butch Jones and hiring Tubs. I've been saying it for years...Tuberville simply isn't that great of football coach. Butch Jones on the other hand, is top flight in my opinion.

I'm sorry, but I can't help but laugh my ass off at this one. There is just so much wrong with this story on personal, professional and ethical levels, that I don't know what else to do other than laugh.
F'em all, man. F. Them. All.
This coupled with the treatment of an assistant coach shows what a giant douche he is. Texas Tech is better off w/o

I agree Brenner. The UC faithful are happy, but I think it's the wrong move.
Haha. Good one.
T-Vegas is a (insert and your probably right)
I feel more and more that I have to keep a blind eye as I watch this sport...
On a positive note-- Look how Bill Snyder conducts his business. Read about him and you will have renewed faith in collegiate athletics.
Ya, ice cream, thats the ticket, LOL....
No down-vote please - thank you!
No down-vote por favor, gracias !

I don't see the big deal. Used to happen to me all the time with girls I dated. If I got passed the soup and salad, I felt like I scored.
I may not be pretty, but I'm fast.....
POTW 1/31/11 - 2/6/11
So......this makes what Kelly did to the University of Cincinnati football players ok?
Somehow, I don't think that was his point.
Yes, I think it was.
Well, he can explain it, if he cares to, but the logical interpretation of his words strongly suggests an ironical take on the behavior of a fan base, not the coaches.
What logical interpretation would lead you to believe the Bearcat fan base approves of what Tuberville did? He is leaving his team high and dry just as Kelly did.
Reports are out now that this isn't actually true
????Reports????? What reports?
Still can't believe Frank Martin left the bball program...had to be the least nonsense tandem in collegiate athletics.
University of Cincinnati said they had not even contacted Tuberville yet, when the dinner occurred. So him leaving wouldn't have been likely, and certainly not because he had a new gig.
the link below suggests that the recruit who was quoted just maybe didn't hear Tuberville say his goodbyes...??
Earlier today, a recruit's comments about the way Tommy Tuberville left a Texas Tech recruiting dinner last week made headlines at several major news
The logical interpretation which is based on what the poster actually said, and not on how someone else wants to contort the words to support a point he's been making for the past three years. Seriously, parse the sentence and explain to me how the poster's point was about the coaches and not the fans. The first half is about what fans thought about Kelly. The second half is what they think about Tuberville. "Fans thought" = common denominator.
If you have issues with Kelly, fine. Start your own thread, but don't misinterpret or twist another poster's words to further your issue.
