Probably the best 1-2 tandem ND has faced at running back since USC's Reggie Bush and LenDale White about seven years ago.
Eddie Lacy and T.J. Yeldon dons backfield. According to Lacy, t
Yeldon worries me more than Lacy, but I honestly feel that our running game with Riddick, Wood, and GAIII is going to be equally impressive.

ESPN's "Film Room" with Matt Millen and Mike Belotti did an hour-long
review of the purported strengths and weaknesses of ND and Alabama.
What was interesting to me was that while they waxed eloquent about
the Tide's running attack, they characterized ND this year as a "spread"
team, focusing on Everett's ability to scramble as the great challenge to
Alabama's defense. How these two could have watched film of ND's twelve
games and come away with the impression that ND is ran a spread offense
this year is beyond me. They never mentioned ND's rushing attack at
all---like in, not once. Not even, a sentence such as "ND has some good backs
in Riddick, Woods and GIII but they don't compare to the Tide's combination."
Sixty minutes of "analysis" and not one sentence on our rushing game.
In addition, they were none too kind with Manti--with Millen saying that
Manti "always" attacks the wrong shoulder of the offensive lineman. In fact,
Millen finally had to remonstrate that "we're not trying to put down Manti
here, but the facts are the facts."
It may, or it may not, happen this year, but there will come a day when
we win it all and I will be so happy, I will literally stand on my head in
the sheer joy of putting these so-called "experts" in their place.
Never question Millen. He knows talent. After all, look at how successful his Lions were.
ND will beat Bama!
