Former Irish QB Brady Quinn agreed to a deal with Seattle, according to ESPN 1420's website. Quinn, a free agent, most recently played for the Kansas City Chiefs. He participated in a four-man quarterback workout for Seattle recently and came out on top. He will likely serve as Russell Wilson's back-up.
Free agent quarterback Brady Quinn, a former college football star with the Notre Dame Fighting Irish, has agreed to terms with the Seattle Seahawks.
My favorite Irish QB being coached by my least favorite coach. It sucks, but atleast he's on a good team now and will get to throw to Tate.

How true! Best of luck to him hope it works out for the best.
Only in practice, barring injury Russell Wilson won't be going anywhere.

i don't know about quinn. i often think he's been hindered by the lack of talent around him. but then again, he's had multiple chance to break thru several teams. tough as nails kid, just not sure if he'll ever shine at this level.....

Exactly my thoughts - I believe that this will be a good move for Quinn. Carroll may not be my 'cup of tea' but he knows talent and wouldn't waste a pick at such a crucial position as a backup qb so I'm allowing myself to feel good about this turn of events for Quinn. GO IRISH!
Interesting turn of events that he beat out Matt Leinart for the job.

I always wish him well, maybe someday it will work out for him.
