He doesn't even give Riddick a chance when we get inside the 10 yard line??
Riddick has one of the most amazing games an ND back has had in a decade and Kelly doesn't use him when it matters most? Why go empty three straight plays on that last drive?
I know SC would have been expecting the run, but they were expecting the run all night and still couldn't stop Theo.
Can a staff member please ask Kelly why he chose not run Theo in the redzone when he's the one that got them down there.

I was at the game and we asked the same question. Theo was a beast. Couldn't fathom why Kelly took him out once we got to the 10yd line on that last drive. SC could not stop him. I guess he was simply playing for the field goal.
We have had great success in spreading the field in the red zone and letting EG get it in. I also think he wanted Golson to be responsible in some meaningful way for the score as he is still a work in process.
I'm not bashing but I'm pretty sure that we are on the lower end of red zone offensive TD's, aren't we?
Not sure that I would say that we have been pretty successful with the spread in the red zone!
I was thinking the same thing as I was watching the game; especially since the only TD was a run by Riddick from about the 10 yard line
Valid concern, but I imagine it will be water under the bridge by the time Kelly next meets with the media.

Riddick was asking the same question on the sidelines.
