He is supposedly transfering from Ohio st. Is there interest in us because he would be a great fit at inside linebacker with his athleticism.
We walked away from him last time due to grades. Unless he turned himself around at OSU, ND will pass.

lol from a kid that Urban stole. To,"he's a standout"-Urban. To transferring.
Has he expressed interest?
I thought we kinda backed off of him for grades. Maybe I'm misremembering

Gringo Mafia Director of Recruiting Analysis // POTW --> 5-16-11 / 5-30-11 / 3-5-12 / 12-30-12 / 2-24-13 / 9-1-13 / 9-22-13
This is a non-starter. We held off on offering initially due to grades... then gave him a conditional offer + commit based on him following an academic road map to qualify... and he didn't do it. Unless he was pulling great grades at OSU there is no chance of a transfer to ND.
ND told him to take a hike when they were recruiting him they aren't going to take him now.
Hell no. That would be a terrible idea.
Dare I say, Coach Kelly knows exactly the type of player he wants in his locker room. If I remember correctly, Perkins was allowed to save face and announce his decommitment as his own idea, rather than having his scholarship offer shameful rescinded. Foresight... good quality in a coaching staff.
This was an amicable divorce behind closed doors with reconciliation not in the offing. It was not surprising that ND was no longer interested.

Looked good in the beginning but after all is said and done - pass vote.

LOL... You're giving CBK waayyyyyyyy too much credit.
At least the staff gave up on appeasing him. Lynch has NFL talent at a position that was immense need when he was signed.
As common as the other opinions I too will pass.

I think the overwhelming consensus of the board is that, for the reasons
stated, Notre Dame will not bother with him at all. Besides, we "replaced"
the size and body type with John Turner--a kid who is really deep in
the safety depth chart but who could, depending on conditioning, etc,
emerge as a linebacker.
Also, sorry to disagree,teo4heisman, but CBK deserves all of the
credit in the world for his ability to assemble a dynamite recruiting
(and coaching) staff who know exactly the kind of kid they want,
both from a "will he fit at ND perspective" as well as "does he have
the athletic ability to compete at the highest level." And, Brian Kelly
may be without peer in the current coaching fraternity in being able
to pick so-called "diamonds in the rough" who emerge as top flight
players. For example, its easy to spot the Jaylon Smiths or Steve
Elmers of this world. Its not as easy to take a gamble on the Corey
Robinsons and Ben Counsells. Kelly has the ability to do both. Its a rare
talent and I think credit should be given where credit is due.
Recruiting-wise, BK in my view can not be praised enough.

I must have missed it. Where is Lynch on this years depth chart?
read the post I was responding to and then come talk to me
Your typical troll trash-talk. Way to early in the year to "suffer you gladly." Kelly only went 12-0 last year and you rag on him every opportunity.
I think I speak for many who are weary of it. If I'm wrong, I will stand corrected.
