This kid is burning bridges big time, hope someone starts steering him in the right direction. His quotes are copied below. Really hope that the recruiting services come together on this to call BS. I'm a fan of the work of 247@BGI, as well as ISD, for this kid to be throwing good people under the bus is BS.
However, Williams was at a loss to explain quotes attributed to him in which he described his visit to Notre Dame.
"Those are incorrect," Williams said. "I never told anyone I was going anywhere I wouldn't be. I approach the media well, and I tell the truth about my recruitment."
Pressed on where the quotes came from, Williams said of the reporters, "Well, I can't really say what they did and what they didn't [do]."
Rivals talked to the kid as well.
A few notes in this thread about the situation and how I handled it after being sent that article yesterday:
Four-star junior all-purpose back Stanley Williams apologizes a day after lying about taking a visit to Notre Dame.

I have to wonder why this kid would think he would get away with this....
LET'S GET IT ON!!!!!
Do you know when ESPN is going to set the record straight on there end or at least remove article from their recruiting page? Only reason i ask is a guy i work with actually made a comment on the article and made a comment regarding ND's true colors starting to show, I told him what really happened, don't think he believed m, but i figure if this bonehead thinks that way, there are others... Would just like to see ESPN say hey, the kid was lying to us as well...
Rivals Steve Hare even posted part of his text conversation with him after he lied. He has the original texts from the kid saved as well. This is laughable.
Will Biggers also has the full transcript from the conversation and texts from the recruit apologizing, admitting to making up the story.
And I know ISD does as well from communicating with them about this.
