About 15 minutes away from the final regular season game for Notre Dame as a CCHA team. The Irish are wearing green tonight as they do every year for senior night. That's the sixth different jersey they've worn this season.
The four seniors on the ND roster are goalie Mike Johnson, defenseman Sam Calabrese and wingers Kevin Nugent and Nick Larson.
Senior night festivities are going to set back the start time by a few minutes tonight. Those just got wrapped up.
Tonight's lines for Notre Dame are the same as last night with Lucia and Voran flanking T.J. Tynan at center on the second line.
Mike Johnson will start in net, only his sixth start of the year but Jackson likes to play his seniors on their final night.
Notre Dame is still in the hunt for a CCHA regular season championship. If they win and Miami loses and Western Michigan either ties or loses, the Irish win the title.
Bowling Green starters are Dajon Mingo, Ryan Carpenter, Mark Cooper, Connor Kucera and Marcus Perrier. Andrew Hammond will be in net, he shut out the Irish in about 30 minutes of work last night after replacing Tommy Burke with the Falcons trailing 4-1.
Jackson's starts all four of his seniors.
Nick Larson, junior David Gerths, Kevin Nugent, Sam Calabrese, junior Shayne Taker and Mike Johnson in net.
Mario Lucia scores first for Notre Dame 5:30 into the game. A strong Notre Dame forecheck kept the pucked pinned in the offensive zone. Robbie Russo fed Lucia from behind the net and the freshman tipped it in for his 12th of the year.
Bowling Green ties the score 1-1 with 6:30 to play in the first period. Notre Dame turned the puck over behind its own, giving Bowling Green a point blank shot. Johnson made the initial save but center Andrew Wallace followed with a goal.
Bowling Green retook the shots on goal lead (9-7) during that most recent flurry.
Thanks Murph for the updates!
2 time POTW winner on some dates I can't remember from 2yrs ago at BNG,

Elsewhere in the CCHA, Miami leads Ohio State 1-0 and Western Michigan trails 1-0 to Michigan State. Both games are late in the first period.
First period ends in a 1-1 tie here at Compton. Both teams will skate 4-on-4 for a minute to start the second after Lucia and BG's Bobby Shea got called for matching high-sticking minors in front of the Falcons net.
Notre Dame takes a 2-1 lead on the power play. Junior David Gerths tracked down a puck in the offensize zone, spun and fired a shot past Hammond. 15:30 to play in the second period.
Notre Dame had a delayed penalty coming against BG captain Ryan Carpenter, but ND captain Anders Lee negated that with a minor of his own. 4-on-4 for the next two minutes.
Bowling Green's Dajon Mingo gets sent off for boarding. The Irish power play is 1-for-1 so far tonight and 3-for-4 this weekend. 8:23 left to play in the second period.
After two periods Notre Dame leads 2-1.
Miami now leads Ohio State 2-0 now late in the second period. Western Michigan still trails Michigan State 1-0. Notre Dame can still clinch second place if Miami wins, that would give them one extra home game in the CCHA playoffs.
Third period underway for Notre Dame and Bowling Green. Nice glove save by Mike Johnson on a long slap shot to start the period.

Anders Lee gives Notre Dame a 3-1 lead. Jeff Costello slammed on the breaks after he crossed the blue line to give himself time for a shot. He fired and the rebound kicked right out to Lee who was crashing the net hard. Lee's 18th goal of the year.
Sam Calabrese hits metal on a shot from the point, but it rolls harmlessly away from the net. Notre Dame still leading 3-1 with less than 10 to play.
Another 4-on-4 session here late in the third period. BG's Ben Murphy gets two minutes for driving a knee into TJ Tynan in the neutral zone. Eric Johnson went after Murphy after the whistle and got a matching minor. That's a penalty that Jeff Jackson will be happy to live with.
Miami just killed off a 5-on-3 penalty then took a 3-0 leading a few minutes later. Looks like they'll finish in first place. Second place Western Michigan is still trailing by one midway through the third. If that holds, Notre dame will finish the season in second place.
Irish senior Nick Larson finished on a high note, gets a power play goal with 2:23 to play. Irish lead 4-1.
Final Score: Notre Dame 4, Bowling Green 1.
Any advantage to 2 seed vs 3 seed Dan?
