6-Time POTW Winner, 4 time at BGI and 2 at 24/7
I was at 11-1 with a loss to Oklahoma now I think we'll be 8-4
To begin with, I held little hope even before the Golson expulsion that the team could match the 2012 team's record. I thought a regular season loss or two was probable.
Now that Golson is gone, it could cost the team another loss or two, so I'll say my best case record fell from 11 reg season wins to 9 wins, and my worst case record fell to 8 wins. Even if Zaire emerges and the team rallies around him, any combination of 10 wins - including the bowl game - would be a real coaching coup, and another feather in BK's cap.
Same record as I had them before, just not winning by as much.
I may not be pretty, but I'm fast.....
POTW 1/31/11 - 2/6/11
^^^^^^ this. Defense keeps them in every game
Rees can't lob jump balls to Eifert now. Any and all passes Rees throws will be a 50/50 chance of being intercepted. Defenses will load up to stop the run because they know what we have in Tommy Rees. That will make running the ball very tough. On top of that, we don't know what we have at RB. Adkinson and McDaniel are back. Then we have freshman. Kelly will be conservative and the play calling will be frustrating to watch. It will be punt and play defense. We score 14 to 17 points a game. I hope I'm wrong but that's what I see coming. I see 5 losses.

3 time POTW
With 10-12 wins
Without 7-8 wins
^^^^ this is where I am at.
I thought we might trip up once or twice with Golson.
Now, 9 win ceiling. Sorry Rees, you have been invaluable as an experienced back-up, but....

5 Time POTW & 2 Time WPOTW Winner
At this point I think 10 wins is pushin' it. What they did last year wasn't expected by anyone. To think Kelly can work wonders like that again and bring them 10 wins or more is almost delusional. I don't see them winning more than 8, with a bowl win maybe 9. Not with Rees playing QB. If someone like Zaire, who is nothing but a question mark plays then I suppose anything could happen but that's a long shot. Hendrix is almost the same as Rees but I like the fact that he can run. Rees is the best option which sucks. If Golson didn't plan to return I'd say lets give it to Zaire and see what we can do and maybe use tommy as back up like last year but with Golson planning to come back it makes no sense to start the Zaire project. 7-9 wins no more than that.

Ive changed to 8-4, i hope im wong.
Two time Poster of The Week, 2011 and 2013.
Upside of 10 wins. Downside 7 wins.
12 wins and a Bcs bowl win with golson, 9 wins without and who knows what bowl we're in.
9-3 regular season.
9-3 with Golson, 7-5 without.
I am of the 7-5, 6-6 cloth. Down from the 10-12 win high. I just think TR and the O is now flawed (sh*tty). D will now have to not only carry the O and SpT's it will need to score some. ND will see 8 men in the box and 7-8 drop into coverage from opp D. Sorry. It just feels like 2007 all over again. :(
I think it is time we publish our next poll
3 time POTW;
I thought the Michigan and Stanford games would be the toughest but those two games also figured to be lower scoring and having Rees at QB fits that scenario fine. Our offense has a few key spots that require players who have yet to come into their own to now become key players. It isn't the worst situation to have a Tommy Rees reading the defense and moving people around. I was at 11 - 1 before and I will stay that way. I think element of Tommy Rees playing QB is secondary to what happens with our Tail Backs, our TEs and our Wide Outs..
