I attended ND from 59 through 63..If Kurarach didn't deter me from being a fan nothing will..

Grew up in the northeast. "Back in the day" we only had three channels. So the choice on Saturday for football was either Syracuse or ND. My brother liked Syracuse so I naturally HAD to choose the "other" team that was on!

My story my be lame, but I became an Irish fan from watching Rudy as a child. I live in Columbus, OH and my family is all Buckeye fans. But I always liked the ND colors better, I think Navy Blue is the perfect football color, and the tradition was amazing. Rudy put it over the top for me. Go Irish!
