Do you think Jack Swarbrick is involved in this cover up? I'm assuming you fully believe Teo was involved in the hoax. If so it was undoubtedly uncovered in a week long investigation by the private investigators hired by the school. I'm just wondering why he would put his job and reputation on the line for what is in all honesty a former player at this point. If Manti was in fact part of the hoax ND itself would get a little negative press but its not like it helped Teo and Tuiasosopo create Lennay. Why would Swarbrick risk his entire career if there was an even 1% chance Teo was involved?

Shurburtt would rather make unsubstantiated claims of a cover-up
Jack was trying to save his own career? Are you serious? Even skeptical reporters recognize he went out on a limb for Manti. It would have been very easy to hedge his bets and create some distance from someone who is no longer a part of the university, but he went all in for Manti.
If you think Jack's career rides on something like this, you don't know Jack.
I may not be pretty, but I'm fast.....

Did he lie? Or, was he still trying to make sense of things? What would you think? Is someone playing a joke? Babbling something in December when you are in shock is sure different than being in on it, genius.
I may be in the minority here but JC has come up with some real zingers. While I agree that his radio spot came across as him casting Manti as the main perp calling for the guy to be fired is laughable.
Some of you guys are way, way too sensitive when it comes to ND.
agree. We can't let are anger get best of us. We all must look at this with unbias outlook
JC, I really appreciate you coming on here. My observation has to do with the "immediately". In my world, it is important to do an investigation first, and then come out with the facts and informed opinions.
Their is a mistaken notion on the airways that you must have an opinion now, even absent the facts. I think we can all wait a little while and get a complete story.
Im still laughing about over signing being characterized as " giving more kids an opportunity". An opportunity for what? To get a letter stating that their scholarship is not not being reviewed? A chance that they might actually get a meaningful degree? It seems to me that the only increased opportunity is to the schools that oversign for them to sift through more players to win games on Saturday and give them an advantage over schools that don't, and actually honor scholarships and graduate players with a real degree who aren't going to play on Sundays, instead of casting them off for the next 6'4" 245lb. guy running a 4.5 with a 6th reading level. Shurburt says he'll be concerned when he sees a list of dozens of players this happens to.. Only dozens? Open your eyes ...you SEC shill.
Not worth the ink its written on or the air in the stratosphere in this case, to respond to this troll. I do like the Jack line though so it was worth it!
