SI.com's Andy Staples reports that former Irish defensive end will being school at USF in June 25. The school confirmed, killing any chance that Lynch might reconsider leaving Notre Dame.
Best of luck to him.
That's the worst b-day present I will be getting.
3 time POTW;
Official release for those that are interested.
Aaron Lynch, who played his high school football in Cape Coral, intends to transfer from Notre Dame to USF after earning Freshman All-America honors in 2011.
Best of luck to him. I hope he has a great career.
That should hopefully put an end to the Lynch discussion from now on
It is time to move on.
I wish him the best except when playing against ND.
Don't you know Skip is hoping he works out at USF, maybe Skip can get him in help him. Best of luck, we will never know what might have been and Aaron won't either.
Good luck and God speed. I wish him the absolute best, but I think he's making a big mistake.
I hope it works out for him. Best of luck.
Two time Poster of The Week, 2011 and 2013.
Good luck Aaron Lynch, wish you would have stayed.
Hi Aaron how are you? Yeah I'll take a number 1 hold the special sauce.
While I do wish him the best, this definitely seems to be an absurdly bad move for Lynch. Obviously, there's the quality of education/degree he'll be receiving now, as opposed to at Notre Dame. Then, as has been pointed out here and elsewhere, he has reaffirmed his reputation, first developed during his recruitment, for being flighty, indecisive and immature, which can't help his stock when the NFL starts giving him a look.
Maybe I'm wrong (I hope I am), but this is the kind of thing you can see festering into a profound regret for him twenty years from now.
It's his life.Bye,Bye.
As Hodges would say they did beat our AZZ at ND last season.
i hope he fails at football but stays healthy

Wish against him when he plays the Irish, but do not root against his football career. Remember, he is a kid. We ALL made poor decisions as kids. Hope he does well.
So does this mean he can finally enjoy the warm Florida weather and sit in the stands with his girlfriend? And force mom to move back from Ohio? WOW! This kid is going places!!!! He'll even be able to mature as he sits the entire season out and then no football to have in his life.
Feel bad for his mom but hope football works out for him. He just pulled an Esau.
