Since I was mean enough to pass along my golf photo with Golden Tate and Jimmy Clausen a few months back, I thought I would follow it up with a photo of how I spent last Sunday:
Once again, I am the midget in the pic. (on the left)
3 time POTW;
You bastard.....sorry I mean that's awesome!! Seriously that's really cool, how do you get to do all these fun things?
Gringo Mafia VP of Guinness Intake, once drank Guinness under the table while drinking Guinness with Guinness! POTW 12/24/12 and 7/8/13
Great shot. Hopefully you got to tell Jimmy Johnson how great Notre Dame was/is/will forever be!
My luck w/the Irish 20-6...GO IRISH!!!
Thanks for sharing, you must have lots of good connections, lol.
Two time Poster of The Week, 2011 and 2013.
Not only did I explain to JJ the greatness of ND, I shamed him for running up the score in 1986 and explained that he was paid back in 1988. He's a great guy actually.
The best part was that I spoke for at least 15 minutes with Mike Perreira (former NFL head of officials) about the Stanford goal line whistle, and Golden Tate's MNF TD. He was a really nice guy.
Yes, I have some good connections in life, so I get to do fun things.
IW; did I mention I'm looking for a job? Btw, awesome pic, you're awesome and everything you've ever.... Ok I'll stop! Lol! Serious bout the job thingy though.
2 time POTW winner on some dates I can't remember from 2yrs ago at BNG,
POTW: 1/3/11- 1/9/11, 6/20/11-6/26/11
What did Perreira say about the whistle and goal line stand against Stanford? If you can share it.
Wow great pic!! I'm jealous. I would have love to talk to Jimmy and Long. How was terry? How little did you feel next to Long and Strahan? Sorry I'm living my life through you and you picture.
He said the call was right as it was called. He thought the whistle might have been blown a little early, but that is a judgement call and could have gone either way. So he thought people should have let that go a lot earlier than they did. Tate's catch in endzone was no catch, and he BLATANTLY committed pass interference. Pretty obvious stuff, really. Was shocked though at how friendly and engaging he was.
Howie Long is a monster of a man, and is also aging more gracefully than should be allowed. Guy looks my age. Shaking his hand was like I had baby hands. So absurd. Bradshaw was the nicest, funniest and most engaging of all of them. Although I did have a pretty good conversation going with Jay Glazer about Twitter and journalists/ESPN stealing his stories. A great day, really. Glad to share with you guys.
What do you do for a living?
It looks as though you and Terry are getting quite comfortable together!!
thanks for share. Sounds amazing.
I have found that broadcasting is my new found love. I can pm you more details. I can do anything at this point except brain surgery but would try it!!
Now I know who to look for at the BCS championship tailgate. I am pretty sure you took care of me with ND DVDs while I was in Iraq, it will be awsesome linking up at the game man...

Yep, that was me who provided you the DVD's of all those miserable games during that 3-9 season. I was happy to do it, too. I look forward to meeting you in person.
Thanks for sharing his insights. Sounds like you had a great time.
