No. 24 Notre Dame and No. 8 Louisville are about to tip-off on CBS at the conclusion of the UCLA-Washington game. I'll be posting updates throughout the game, so join the discussion as the Irish finish up the Big East regular-season slate (and probably go to overtime in the process).
Pittsburgh closes with an 81-66 win at DePaul. Panthers must wait for Notre Dame-Louisville result to see if they get last double bye.
Irish slowing things down offensively and in a man defense. Down 4-0 two minutes in.
At the under-16 timeout, Louisville leads 8-5. Cooley called for offensive foul on a screen before play stopped.
By the way, St. John's has taken Marquette to overtime. Marquette is battling for a share of the Big East regular-season title. Red Storm looks much better than it did in South Bend a few days ago.

Great dish from Knight to Cooley for a dunk. Cooley has a chance to make it a 3-point play and cut the deficit to 10-8.
Louisville is getting easy buckets so far.
Sherman and Auguste sub in for Cooley and Knight.
Connaughton 3-pointer makes it a 14-11 Louisville lead.
Good sign for the Irish that Sherman made his first bucket on a nice spin move.
Nice defense by Sherman on Dieng. Irish down 14-13 as timeout is called at 11:06.
Marquette edged St. John's in overtime to secure a piece of the Big East regular-season title with Georgetown. The Hoyas, however, get the No. 1 seed in the conference tournament next week.
Connaughton misses everything on a 3-point shot and Louisville's Hancock connects on a triple on the other end to give the Cardinals a 22-16 lead with 8:41 to go in the first half.
Auguste and Sherman are giving the Irish some good minutes.
Sherman and Atkins each with six points for ND so far.
If Grant gets going, we can make this a game. Defense needs to get better though
Louisville is shooting 64.7 percent in the first half (11-for-17) and 75 percent (3-for-4) from behind the arc. Irish are shooting 50 percent (8-for-15) from the floor and 3-for-7 from 3-point land.
Yep, too many open shots.
This is when not having Biedscheid is a problem. Connaughton is really shaky with the ball right now, and that last turnover led to a Siva 3-pointer and 30-21 Louisville lead. Irish are in the danger zone right now.
Another Irish turnover leads to Louisville layup for 7-0 run and 32-21 lead.
Sherman stops the bleeding with another spin move. Notre Dame having a boatload of trouble with Louisville's pressure defense.
Austin Burgett enters the game for Auguste.
Notre Dame having major problems getting any kind of offensive rhythm right now. Irish down 10 with three minutes left in the first half.
Irish fail to make up any ground in the final minutes and trail 37-27 at the break.
Notre Dame shot 37.5 percent (9-for-24) from the field and 3-for-10 from deep in the first half. Garrick Sherman's eight points led the team, with Eric Atkins chipping in six. Jerian Grant was 0-for-4 from the field and made three free throws.
The Irish were outrebounded 12-10 and both teams had five turnovers.
