I am getting extremely frustrated that more and more of the ESPN site is now behind the 'Insider Wall' that it is not even worth going to their stupid site and checking things out. I wanted to go there and check to see who 'my team' drafted last night, and half the information that was relevant wasn't shown, not just the analysis.
I understand that the membership is not really expensive ($2.50/month for a 2 year membership), but I do not want to become an ESPN Insider. For those who actually are insiders, is the membership worth it? I know alot of the information is available on other sites (cbssports has the basic information without a fee), but I just wanted to know if the analysis there is that much better or more in-depth that other sites.
Thanks in advance for any input.

Check out NFL.com. ESPN insider isn't worth it.
I happen to like being an insider. $2.50 a month is peanuts for as much info as I read on that site. I give it a thumbs up

Its absolutely worth it...
I happen to love Draft coverage and Recruiting coverage, so I really enjoy Insider.
But then again, I use my friend's account so I don't pay for it.
PS. Send me a PM and I can hook you up with "summaries" of specific articles.
I think it's worth it but I use it a lot for fantasy sports information as well. I'm not a fan of the ESPN Magazine that comes along with it but oh well.
I recommend going to discountmags.com and catching ESPN the mag on sale which includes insider for free. They run a special every couple of months where you can get ESPN the mag for like 10 bucks a year and with that deal it is well worth it. I was able to get 3 year subscription for like 24 bucks.
I have it and sometimes it is, but ESPN is getting so Anti-ND that I get very frustrated with their 'NCAAF Rumors' because 247 is so much more informative I am usually reading it just shaking my head. That said, I follow a lot of sports (hockey, football, baseball) so it's nice to have the Insider for the prospect side of baseball. To me, it's worth it because it's literally the cost of a can of chew (which I have been free of for 28 days, ahh thank you!).

I got my Insider through the magazine special as well, but do not read the magazine since the articles are always online first so by the time I get it I have read everything in it.
