Just wanted to pass the time with a question: what was your first car?
Mine? A 1976 Honda Civic hatchback. And that b*tch was bright yellow.

1986 Buick LeSabre in Charcoal Grey. We piled 'em in there like crazy!
CMC - Director of Apparel Operations
POTW - a couple of times, can't remember the exact dates
I had a 1984 Pontiac Grand Prix. Thing was a boat on wheels. Solid as a tank though. Biggest POS I ever owned. Picking up chicks in HS behind the wheel of that thing in 1998 was no easy task.
A Citroen from France, yes, that one, the real France!
Gringo Mafia VP of Guinness Intake, once drank Guinness under the table while drinking Guinness with Guinness! POTW 12/24/12 and 7/8/13
Well, wish I would have known this was off topic. Sheesh.
1998 Plymouth Neon. Or as I liked to call it "dinky". It liked to slide in a slight drizzle, and I wouldn't touch it if there was ice on the ground. I swear in an accident with a motorcycle, my car would look worse than the bike.
Member of the Gringo Mafia - chief infiltrator of the federales --- If life hands you lemons, throw them at an UofM fan
1976 Mustang II. Held it together with Bondo ...
Mine was a white '92 Pontiac Grand Am, which I got as a hand-me-down in 1996 and drove until everything possible went wrong with it at the same time in 2001. But his name was Jean-Claude Grand Am, and he retains legendary status even amongst my friends who never had the pleasure of meeting him. So there's that.
Gringo Mafia: The Girl. Director of Musical Activities and Group Hugs. 3-time POTW.
I had a lock on my Dad's 72 Triumph Spitfire until my a-hole brother took it without asking and wrapped it around a tree 3 months before I got my license. Instead I got a brown 1982 Dodge Charger hatchback that my brother also wrecked.
I hate my brother.
6-Time POTW Winner, 4 time at BGI and 2 at 24/7
I'm older than the rest who have posted so far. I got my first in 1966, a 1963 Plymouth. It had a 383 with blown twin 4 barrels, and a 4.10 rear. Those who know what that means, know you could watch the gas gauge move when you stood on it, but gas was only 25 cents/gal during gas wars. Think "American Graffiti" and "Hollywood Knights". Not smart, but fun.
3 time POTW;
SAVE THE MANUALS!!!
My first car: 1986 Ford Escort 2-Door Hatchback ... 4-speed stick. Originally white, I had it painted black and installed Escort GT wheels. After that, it was sarcastically known as the "Chick Mobile" by my inner circle.
And for the record: Kudos to IFR for an excellent thread amid such tumultuous times!
It's a beute!
5 Time POTW--Gringo Mafia Director of Guerrilla Warfare
