9-3 is the best case I see...10-2 with extaordinary luck and breaks...Usc and Oklahoma are looking so tough...and one loss to MSU UOM Miami Stanford seems likely over the long stretch of the season...not that i'd be on the ledge with a good bowl and 9-3 ...but bcs all but out of conversation it seems ...that schedule is brutal.
The only way I see around it is some wake up the echoes magic at qb and an unstoppable run game that keeps the ball away from good offenses.
Hope lives on...Go Irish
7-5 or 8-4, we are just too green in the secondary and at QB. Look out for 2013, we should be BCS caliber again.
My luck w/the Irish 20-6...GO IRISH!!!
8-4 until they prove otherwise.
I drink too much kool-aid to answer this question. Same reason I don't gamble on sports. Don't always use the brain. Gambling with the heart is dangerous.

I'm saying they go 10-2. Loosing to Oklahoma and, I'm going to catch a lot flak for this one but, Purdue. All the intangibles are there for an upset. huge opener in Ireland, and a top 15 team the next week. I hate to say it but the Irish very likely will overlook a talented Purdue team. On the bright side though. We will beat USC and Michigan this year. Worst case scenario is 9-3 with a decent bowl to go to 10-3 or 11-2. Kool-Aid glass is now empty.

I think with mediocre QB play we go at worst 8-4. With good QB play we can go 10-2 or 11-1. Talented team just need to put a couple positions together and they can compete with the big boys. Oklahoma will be the 7th game and USC will be the 12th. I think we should have something figured out with the QB position by the OU game no questions asked. If not then it will be very difficult to win at OU and the colisieum.
