More from Brown:
"#1 in the state in , 100m (10.51) , high jump (6'8) and triple (48')"
Freak. Wonder if he has enough polish to make it translate as a freshman. We could use a Marquis Lee or Sammy Watkins this year.
That's faster than Ronald Darby's best time (10.55) this year. Great to see.
Has ALL of the athletic ability needed to be a good WR. He's also up around190 now, right?
Not sure if and when it will come together, but Brown and DaVaris could be really awesome in the same WR corps.
Brown Neal & Ferguson are fast. That kind of speed does us no good standing on the sideline's. These kid's need to see the field asap.

I believe he also tweeted or it was posted somewhere(maybe here) that he is now up to 6'3 and I believe he's added some weight as well. I firmly believe this kid was the steal of the 2012 recruiting cycle.
If that is automatic timing then that is DARN fast! One of my own players ran a 10.32 his senior year, and he ended up on the 4x100m relay in Bejing. We need speed like this kid has!!!

As the offensive line goes, so the team goes!
I have coached track for over twenty years. He has speed, and very powerful legs! For his height to go 6'8" in the high jump and 48' in the triple jump that is great! He will out jump most cornerbacks and safeties. A lot of football coaches are starting to understand how track can help build a stronger and faster football program. I am glad BK sees that as well! Thanks Jason for the info.
Pffft. No big deal. I could probably put up those number if you cut the 100m down to 60m, let me use a trampoline for the highjump and let me combine two different triple jumps together.
Brown was the pick as the sleeper in the class. Putting up these kinds of numbers certainly helps support that claim.
Kid is going to be a big big hit out there split with him, Davaris, and Davonte Neal along with what Goodman has reportedly improved on and Toma and Ferguson. Hopefully TJ Jones puts it all together. That kid has a lot of potential as well. I'm excited about the potential of this offense this fall especially if Golson takes control
I think it's unlikely that many freshmen WRs play this year, even with ND's lack of depth. Just learning the offense, refining routes and blocking, etc. will probably prevent them from leap frogging some of the upperclassmen.
The idea of Brown, Daniels, Neal and Koyack split out in the future is damn exciting though.

Absolutely---BK landed on him early, before most people sensed
how good he was, made an offer, recruited him hard, and now he
and his speed are ours. I remember that Steve Spurrier even got
in "late" on the speedster from South Carolina. Man oh Man can
BK spot talent before others seem to. What a knowledgeable coach.
I believe before BK even got to ND, he knew the kind of talent
he would have to get---he has gone out, got it, and is continuing
to do the same with the 2013 and 2014 classes. I would not be
surprised if Turner is better than his rating also.

Don't worry if he can't Kelly will just hand it to him lol
Wow that's speed
Gringo Mafia Strength Coach
Don't forget about Fergeson on the outside-Kid could be the next A. Bolden with his strength and speed.
Ferg will have to work on his hands he drops to many balls that he shouldn't.
I have real excitement for the offense we are going to be seeing in the future with this team. I also think we will see some real nice things this year, not sure if our offense will be conistent this year but some nice flashes I hope.
The team is thisclose to breaking out if they can just get the QB position settled *cough* Golson *cough*! With solid QB play the first 2 years under Kelly we could have had a couple of 10 win seasons to build on. I think we may be in for a pleasant surprise this fall if things develop.
Faster than De'Anthony Thomas from Oregon in the 100m too if I'm not mistaken? I wonder if the coaches have some package plans like UO did with Thomas. Speed kills.
