Opening the recruiting mailbag back up for members of Rockne's Roundtable.
This is a discussion thread that allows you to ask your recruiting questions in one place and I'll check in often to get through them -- compiling for more extensive responses in a feature every week or so.

JSapp, I know you've probably answered this elsewhere, but wanted to get your sense on whether any of the recruits might become shaky if Diaco leaves. Same goes for Alford. Also, is the sense that ND would hire from within or go outside if they lose Diaco, and would this have any impact on recruiting, particularly in '13? Just wanted to get your "sense" more than anything else. By the way, you're doing an amazing job. I don't know when you sleep, but way to represent ND brother.
The Irish seem to be in on a number of prospects in California but, correct me if I'm wrong, have yet to land anyone. Notre Dame has certainly established a national presence with the Shamrock Series and in California with annual December games against the Cardinal and Trojans but is the strategy working out West? What are the odds we don't land a single California player this year? Cali aside it's been a great haul so far but is this just a matter of Tony Alford not being able to be everywhere?
Mike Farrell from Rivals seems to think Alquadin Muhammad might not "qualify" for ND. Are academics potentially an issue?
J. Sapp. Central High in Fresno Ca. produced at least 5 division 1 footballers off their 2012 squad this year. All of the 5 I know of are DBs and are studs. There is another player there and I'm hearing rumors very close to the source that Michiah Quick may be the best player on that team. Do you know if ND has offered and if so where do we stand?
