No USC in its top 25. Stanford 3rd, Michigan State 14th, Michigan 16th and Oklahoma 17th.
Alabama, Texas A&M, Stanford, Ohio State headline the post-spring practice college football Power Rankings entering the 2013 season.
Calling it right now...MSU is way overrated. Just like last year.
So is Stanford
I agree with both you guys MSU and Stanford are overrated. If Hogan gets hurt Stanford is in trouble. I think Michigan might be underrated. Michigan's QB, Devin Gardner has some experience and time under his belt as a starter. The Michigan game worries me a bit as we were plus 4 in the turnover margin last year and barely beat them. On the other hand our QB has much more experience too.
Beware of Oklahoma. They are the ones flying under the radar this year, similar to Notre Dame in 2012. They've been humbled, are getting ripped as chronic underachievers ... that is when a program like that can recalibrate and become dangerous.
Them and Stanford are the two teams that are salivating at the chance to play the Irish this year, they both were left with a bad taste in their mouths last year

POTW Feb. 27 - Mar. 5 2012
I think Stanford will be good!! They are returning almost everyone on a defense that was very stingy last year .. Their offensive line will be one of the best in the country and they have a stable of running backs (Gaffney,Hewitt,Wilkerson, Sanders Jr) that rival any in all of College Football... I agree if Hogan gets hurt they will struggle but you can say that about almost every team in the country. If McCarron gets hurt Bama is in trouble if Manziel gets hurt A&M is in trouble if Boyd gets hurt Clemson is in trouble etc..... Hogan is good and Standford will be a top 5-10 team this year without a doubt in my opinion...
Stanford has a new Andrew Luck Director of Offense. The last ALDoC / OC Pep Hamilton is now with the Colts
Yep... I think the NC game will be Bama vs. OU
Stanford is a program now.....dangerous every year.
Oklahoma was not that good last year and lost Landry Jones - yes, will want to return the favor on the road, but don't see them being better than last year with new QB.
Pittsburgh at Heinz will be tough.
Michigan in the Big House will be very tough.
MSU is perenially over-rated, like Wisconsin.
God. Country. Notre Dame.
OU got wacked at their house THEY will be up for PAYBACK - this is one game ND will need to be ready for. GO IRISH!
