What was 247s' logic in dropping him down a spot after manhandling Lorenzo Carter? Any insight into this one? Thanks guys.

I'm thinking there might be glitches right now in the individual ratings.... there's NO WAY they purposefully dropped him.

I don't think 247 would bump a kid up for his performance at Rivals' Camp which they obviously had no analysts attending. Kizer and Brent attended a NFTC event, which 247 guys were at.

Whether 247 "dropped" him is almost irrelevant---we Irish fans know of
his performance at the Rivals camp, know that he dominated on Saturday,
and is committed to Notre Dame. Whether he is given proper recognition
by 247 or not, we know he is one of the top five offensive linemen in the
country based upon performance and we can thank God that he will be
wearing Gold and Blue rather than that awlful "maize" color. The same can
be said of Nelson---another top five offensive lineman.
The fact that these two guys are Irish is our gain; the fact that the 247
national types don't rank them appropriately affects 247's credibility
and is their loss.
^^^STLDomer knows what he's talking about.
And if you are talking about Bars dropping 1 spot that would likely be a result of simply Matt Elam moving up to the #10 spot today all players he passed would have dropped a spot in that scenario.
Who cares in the long run as we know that Nelson and Bars are studs and that Mustipher and Byrne have great potential and just need further development and coaching(as all players do).
