My wife is Jewish -- she does not get upset when someone wishes her a Merry Christmas. She usually replies politely and goes about her business. She respects other people's beliefs and does not try to impose hers on anyone, only that they respect hers as well. She usually just assumes that people that wish her a Merry Christmas don't know that she is Jewish. Let's face it, Judaism is in the minority here and she knows that. That being said, too many people in this world let their emotions override their intelligence in these matters nowadays and the world has become a more hostile place to hang your hat. My wife does get bothered when people that know she is Jewish still wish her a Merry Christmas though -- but she is not going to whack someone over it...

Christmas has nothing to do with a tree. There was no pine growing in Bethlehem 2000 years ago . The Miracle that is the birth of Christ has nothing to do with Trees or presents. If folks don't wish to display a tree then that is their decision. Christmas is about the Love of God giving us his Son to ensure our salvation and what other people do or say should have no effect on bow we as individuals celebrate and enjoy the holiday. If a Jew or a Muslim is offended then that is their problem, not yours. Merry Christmas everyone and I hope everyone had a happy and healthy one ( personally I was expecting this post from the resident preacher man from Ohio )
