Did not see Tuitt anywhere on that list. Forgive me if I missed him as being held out, just curious.

no concern, sapp reported tuitt was on a stationary back at the start of the day.
Tuitt, Jackson, Fox and Baratti were all on stationary bikes. Hence the disclaimer about injuries and absences at the top. A full report on where the team stands is up now on the home page.
Shumate/Collingsworth and Wood/Jackson will be a couple of really good battles to watch this spring. But then, I really wonder what is going to happen when the new blood reports over the summer.

I see Springmann is down about 14lbs from last seasons listed weight?
Right now it's more likely that Wood will compete with Russell at the field corner spot and Jackson will stay on the field at boundary when he is healthy again. Kelly said he was impressed with what he saw from Lo Wood today during the first practice.
Thanks Dan. Awesome
Please don't pull Russel from CB. He will be a household name when it's all said and done.

One of the more astounding accomplishments to me last year was the way Jackson and Russell answered the bell every game, knowing they had to be out there for the lion's share of plays. Their durability and toughness, both mental and physical, was stellar.
With Wood now in the mix, I can see it being something like Kelly's first year in 2010 when Darrin Walls, Gary Gray and Robert Blanton were basically a three-man rotation at the corner spot, just like safety two years ago with Harrison Smith, Jamoris Slaughter and Zeke Motta.
im not worried about russell losing his spot, his talent will show thru, its very early.the coaching staff, or fans for that matter wont forget he made 2 game saving tackles to preserve the undefeated season, having wood in the mix is great to have a vet 3rd corner to take pressure off of very talented incoming freshmen.
