I have heard some other posters on tos that he is hurt.
Fox had shoulder surgery after the bowl game, like Bennett Jackson, and it was known at that time that he would be sidelined for the spring while recuperating. Beyond that I haven't heard anything else.
I believe he played most of the season with a shoulder injury last year. Had surgery in the off season and sitting out for spring...will be back in the fall
And, he participated without pads in today's practice---No. 48
in the linebacker drill segment.
Great to hear. I am so sick of these rumors with tos about injuries to our players. This board is so much better. THanks for the clarification
Not sure if it's a rumor if it's true though. Maybe they were just late to the game about his injury. Davaris Daniels was out today with injury, and so was Spond. Maybe that's who they meant? (Spond)
Actually and unfortunately, the "rumor" on the other site was not
simply that he was recovering from injury and would see limited
action this spring(which itself was announced by BK at his inaugural
spring press conference). No, the rumor was that Fox was lost for
the year and the thread was quickly locked by the moderators.
A totally unfounded piece of nonsense.
dansch20, I follow the guideline put to me by IrishBob, Ham, '85,
TheIrishWon, beamish, terryqb and a host of others when I first
joined---unless and until either Jason, Lou,Wes,Dan or even Steve
comment on an item, withhold judgment. They aggressively run
down everything ND related and do not print something to be first
with the least. Following the Irish is often a frenetic emotional experience
and, I for one, welcome the calm manner in which our board moderators
carry out the task of keeping us informed but sane as well.
