The best performance by a freshman QB I saw against ND was Michigan's Tate Forcier in 2009 during a 34-30 comeback victory by the Wolverines. I didn't like the thought of playing against him three more years. Then lo and behold, classmate Denard Robinson beats him out and puts up nearly 1,000 yards total offense by himself against Notre Dame in two more come-from-behind 4-point wins.
After Robinson moved ahead of him, Forcier planned to enroll at Miami before going to San Jose State in his home state — but academic concerns prevented him from playing at either school. Now, in what would have been his senior year, Forcier said Monday that he has signed with the Hamilton Tiger-Cats of the Canadian Football League.
The CFL season begins in June.
Lou, who would have thought after watching him perform like he did against us in that game that we would not face him again and his career pretty much tanked after that. Strange turn of events.

My luck w/the Irish 20-6...GO IRISH!!!
His actions and interview after that game proved he doesn't have the "it" factor. Not a bit surprised he'll be a washed up nobody
It just seems like every time he is demoted he tries to take a bigger step forward. What is next? He gets cut in the CFL and goes to an NFL camp?
cant stand him.
Tate Forcier's first game for the Hamilton Tiger-Cats will be on Wednesday June 13th when they play at home against the Toronto Argonauts. Just keep in mind that Jarious Jackson will also be in his first game as the backup QB to Ricky Ray with the Toronto Argonauts. Jackson had spent the last 11 seasons in the CFL with the BC Lions.
